Hola amigos y familia! I hope you all have had a wonderful week! Sorry if this email is a little long, so much happened this week.

Tortilla count: 149

Monday: P-day! Easily the most fun pday of my mission so far. My district went down to Pachuca and hit all my bucket list items in one day. We went to the famoso clock tower where we saw a bunch of Christan Korean missionaries talking with people and sharing scriptures. Then we went to the cutest town called Real De Monte up in the mountains. It literally was like I was living in the movie Coco. We went to this famous paste restaurant that has a beautiful view overlooking the mountains. We also stopped at the Cristo Rey which is basically like the statue of Jesus that Brazil has just a lot smaller. Soooo fun!!

Tuesday: Went to Tepatepec for consejo de distrito and reunión de Zona. My district and zone are so fun!

Wednesday: I went to immigration and I officially became a legal resident of Pachuca. I technically was illegally living here for the past 2 months.  Also put our friend Odin on date!!

Thursday: Was very normal until about 2:30. We went to a member's house for lunch. When we got there she asked us if we could call a jail in Texas and help her bail her brother out prison because we can speak English. We spent the next 40 minutes calling prisons looking for and asking about her brother. Unfortunately, in order for her to bail her brother out or get in communication with him she needed an American ID. So she asked us if she could barrow one of our IDs. But don't worry mom, I didn't give her my ID. After we realized there was nothing we could do we started eating and the member went and got her baby, took her shirt off and just started feeding her baby at the table. I was like, okay, guess this is just Mexico.

Friday: We put a friend on date for baptism! Her name is Miriam and she is so ready for the gospel. She says she studies the scriptures for 3 hours everyday and quit her job to give more time to God... . She wants to be baptized so bad but Hna Watrous and I are trying to teach her about the importance of balancing all areas of life. Jajaja

Saturday: We put another friend on date! Her name is Sam! We also went and helped set up for Irma's baby shower. There was SO MUCH FOOD, and we were FASTING. But you better know that they loaded us up with goodies before we left.

Sunday: Both Miriam and Sam came to church! Woot woot!

Pensamiento Espiritual
This past week I have been working on awe. Trying to be in awe every day and look at where I am and what I'm doing. One of my favorite church songs is I Feel My Saviors Love. The lyrics remind me to be in awe!

"I feel my Savior’s love

In all the world around me.

His Spirit warms my soul

Through ev’rything I see"

All things denote, there is a God... Alma 30:44

Love you all, have a great week!
