Hola familia y amigos! This week was great! IRMA WAS BAPTIZED! My first baptism of what I hope is many.

Also shoutout my little sister Hailey! Happy 14th birthday Bug!

Tortilla count: 81

Monday: For pday we didn't do a ton but our District leaders came up to San Agustín and the 4 of us ate a pizza in a gas station parking lot.

Tuesday: Nothing unusual, lots of walking. 22,000 steps

Wednesday: Had my first Zone Conference in Pachuca. It was so fun! I got to see my CCM comp Hna Scott and although I don't understand everything, I was able to understand more than I thought.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday: Lots of walking, telling dogs to be quiet, door knocking, street contacting. On Saturday a lesson got canceled so we were sitting on a bench in the centro trying to figure out what to do. A drunk guy was walking by talking to his wife on the phone. He looked over at me and said "los estados unidos" (the united states). So I nodded and he got REALLY EXCITED. He ran over and put his phone about a inch from my face asked me to talk to his wife in English. The whole time I was talking to her, he was laughing historically. After talking to her I asked the drunk guy if he wanted to come to church and he said yes! But he didn't come yesterday.

Sunday: Amazing but insane day. We had church, ran home and got everything for Irma's baptism, went and had lunch with members. The traffic was bad getting there so we had to eat in 10 minutes and then we took the bumpiest combi ride to Actopan for the baptism. It was a little stressful getting there but the Baptism went great and now Irma and her husband Issac are preparing to go to the temple and seal their family!

Pensamiento Espiritual ️
This week is Holy Week! At the beginning of my Mission my brother Ian told me that if there's one thing I do on my mission it should be to gain a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. So I've really been working on my testimony of the Atonement and what a perfect time of year with Easter!
We are engraven on the hands of Christ. He suffered for each of us and has felt all the pain, trials and feelings that we have felt and will ever feel. He signed his name over mine. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the greatest event that has ever happened on this earth. Because of Him, I will overcome death.

I love you all! Have a great week and think about the Savior!
